ORA acupuncture spa combines the traditional techniques of ancient Chinese medicine with a modern, convenient experience at an accessible price-point. DyeLot worked closely with ORA’s founder to provide turn-key services that began with consultation during pre-leasing, collaborating as part of the team that selected the NoHo location for the first location of the ORA spa. DyeLot provided design management and construction management as well as procurement services, ensuring project implementation that was faithful to the Rockwell Group’s design while meeting schedules and overseeing the construction budget. DyeLot’s comprehensive services enabled ORA to go from “Dust to Done” and facilitated ORA’s desire to create a distinct physical brand through their space.

The goal was to create a holistic wellness experience that is as effective and efficient as it is luxurious. The team worked on details that included: sophisticated lighting, curved walls, raw materials, a signature blue and white palette, walnut, brass and copper metal accents, marble reception counter. Work included the streamlined procurement of furniture, fixtures and millwork, audio-visual equipment, and managing vendors associated with the array of technical equipment for seven private treatment rooms. The result is an award-winning and highly acclaimed spa featured in The Robb Report, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, Dujour, and WWD. ORA Spa is a welcoming oasis for acupuncture, tea, and tonics pre and post-treatment that achieves the goal of making acupuncture more accessible for healing for all and especially those suffering from a variety of physical health issues or wanting to increase emotional health.
